MY PATH AND EXPERIENCE
Brooklyn, NY → Hanover, NH → Bethlehem, PA
Born and raised in New York City, I grew up in an Italian-American and Puerto Rican Catholic family.
I attended Catholic School for much of my childhood, then attended a private school on scholarship.
There, I found my love of languages and began to pursue my dream of going to college.
Through hard work, my family's support, and the grace of God, I was the first in my family to attend a major college or university.
I have a degree in Linguistic Anthropology (the study of languages and culture).
I graduated during the pandemic in June of 2020. My last classes were virtual.
Although I did not grow up speaking Spanish, I studied it, as well as French and Latin. I am not fluent, but I hope to be soon!
This is my second year of teaching.

MI EXPERIENCIA
Nacà y crecà en la ciudad de Nueva York, crecà en una familia católica puertorriqueña e italiano-americana.
Asistà a la escuela católica durante gran parte de mi infancia, luego asistà a una escuela privada con una beca.
Allà encontré mi amor por los idiomas y comencé a perseguir mi sueño - ir a la universidad.
A través del trabajo arduo, el apoyo de mi familia y la ayuda de Dios, fui el primero en mi familia en asistir a un colegio o universidad importante.
Soy licenciada en AntropologÃa LingüÃstica (el estudio de las lenguas y la cultura).
Me gradué durante la pandemia en junio de 2020. Mis últimas clases fueron virtuales.
Aunque no crecà hablando español, lo estudié, además de francés y latÃn. ¡No hablo con fluidez, pero espero serlo pronto! Éste es mi segundo año de enseñanza.
Este año es mi segundo cómo una profesora.
